PURPOSE
The purpose of this Policy is to provide a framework which ensures that all of our client’s personal information is protected by providing details on how this information is dealt with and the responsibilities under this policy.

While Metro Constructions and Developments Pty Ltd is exempt from The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 under section 6D of the Act, we have chosen to comply with the Australian National Privacy Principles set out in respect of the personal information collected from clients and other stakeholders.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Metro will not normally collect personal information other than your name, address, phone numbers, fax and email address.

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information will only be used for what it was collected for. When you request further information from us we will retain these details within Metro and provide details to you for which you have requested.

Other than this, your personal information will not be shared, sold or given to any third parties without your request, consent, unless required or authorised under the exemptions set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

Our aim is to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up to date. To help us with this please contact us if any of the information you have provided changes. We will take reasonable efforts to correct the data.

EMAILS
Emails we receive from you will only be used for the purposes given and are subject to the conditions set out in this privacy policy. Due to the nature of email, sending personal information in an email remains entirely at your own risk and Metro will not be responsible for any unauthorised use and disclosure of this information.
